About Hibachi China Buffet
Located at 111 Shannon Oaks Cir, Cary, NC 27511, Hibachi China Buffet operates as a chinese restaurant serving Cary in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as buffet restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 amβ9:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (919) 388-1686. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
With 3.7 out of 5 on Google from 2,747 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for chinese restaurants in Cary. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Cary is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Cary follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This place was SO disappointing. The food was absolutely terrible and honestly tasted like it had been sitting out forever. Nothing tasted fresh, and I could barely finish my food. But the customer service was even worse. The attitude from the staff was completely unacceptable. They acted like customers were bothering them, and nobody seemed to care about our experience. If youβre going to charge people to eat here, the food and service should at least be decent. I will NOT be coming back and definitely do not recommend this place. Save your money and go somewhere else!

We come here pretty often, and itβs honestly one of our favorite buffet spots in the area. The food is consistently fresh and delicious every single time. They have a huge variety of options, from sushi and seafood to different kinds of meat, hot dishes, fruit, and desserts, so thereβs really something for everyone. What really keeps us coming back is the staff. Everyone is friendly, but the ladies working here are especially kind, attentive, and always paying attention to the little things that make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed, clean, and comfortable, and itβs always a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. We always leave happy and looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this place!

Food is disgusting, receptionist who claims to be the manager and owner of the place βcertainly she is notβ is extremely rude. She cursed me and screamed like crazy because she saw my son who is 7 years old and is tube fed eating from my cup some pudding, as we have not paid for him since he does not eat orally. I explained to her that he is just tasting the pudding but she was screaming and said you have to pay $3 for what he ate and you canβt share food with others, this is a buffet !! The waitress never removed the plates from our table . This place is horrible, do not recommend for anyone

All you can eat Chinese with a mixture of classic and tasty dishes. They have a soup made fresh (udon and pho were solid). They had fresh sushi made on a Friday at 6pm. You can tell what items move fast β¦ and stay fresh. Lots of seafood and dishes that are worth trying if you havenβt ever had (frog legs or octopus). Great way to introduce someone to a variety and for a strong value.

Went for a early dinner it wasn't too crowded. Buffet was 17/18$ drinks not included. Taste was okay. Tried sushi and seafood, because btw its not halal. food was warm it wasn't steaming hot though. Don't try Fried crab. Overall a good experience because went there with friends but if you go alone it will not be the same experience. Staff was okay but not friendly nobody greeted.
